It's important to remember that CityCU is not a church. While we believe there is great value in gathering together as Christian students, we also recognise the significant role that the church should play in each of our spiritual lives. We therefore strongly encourage every one of our members to get involved in a local church in Liverpool.

The following is an alphabetical list of churches which are particularly popular amongst students in Liverpool. Feel free to check them out and try each one, especially if you're a Fresher starting at Liverpool in September 2007!
Belvidere Road Church, www.belvidere.org.uk
Belvidere Road Church is a group of Reformed Bible believing Christians seeking to glorify God, strengthen His people, and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth. They meet every Sunday in Belvidere Road near Princes Park, Liverpool.
Bridge Chapel, www.bridgechapel.com
Bridge Chapel is a large family-based church situated in the Garston area of Liverpool. They meet together every Sunday to worship God, and have a variety of other events and smallgroups throughout the week.
Christ Church Liverpool, www.christchurchliverpool.org
Christ Church aim to help people to know Jesus better by explaining the Bible and seeking to live out its message. They meet on Sundays at Archbishop Blanch School (at the top of Brownlow Hill, very near to Liverpool University campus).
Frontline Church, www.frontline.org.uk
Frontline is a lively church based in Wavertree, Liverpool. It was founded in the early nineties and formed a partnership aimed at establishing a city-changing church.
Hilltop Praise, www.hilltop-praise.org
Hilltop Praise is the regular evening service at Mossley Hill church, next to the Carnatic Halls. It is a lively, informal service with emphasis on Bible teaching and participation.
South Liverpool Vineyard, www.southliverpoolvineyard.com
Vineyard Church have a relaxed and informal worship style, where you can express our love for Jesus through music, poetry and biblical meditations.
Jubilee Church, http://www.liverpooljubilee.org.uk
Jubilee Church Liverpool is a NewFrontiers church based in Mossley Hill (near GreenbankHalls). They meet together every Sunday morning for both word and spirit filled meetings. They also have a number of small groups during the week.
